Jackson A. Griner is an associate attorney with Downey & Cleveland, LLP in Marietta, Georgia.
He also handles other types of pre-litigation and litigation claims associated with diminished value to vehicles, insurance coverage disputes, and contract formation disputes.
Jackson has served as lead counsel in a number of jury trials in Georgia’s trial courts, securing favorable verdicts for his clients.
He also frequently handles cases in federal court, as well as cases before the Georgia Court of Appeals and Georgia Supreme Court.
Prior to joining Downey & Cleveland, Jackson worked as a Summer Associate for the firm, and gained valuable knowledge and experience while still in law school. He then began with the firm as an associate shortly after law school and has focused his practice on the area of civil defense litigation ever since.
In law school, Jackson also served as the Eleventh Circuit Survey Editor for Volume 71 of Mercer Law Review, and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal honor society.
Outside of the Courtroom, Jackson participates as a career mentor to undergraduate members of Chi Psi fraternity.
